Next steps & new customer forms

How to book

To enquire and/or book any of our services, you can contact us by phone, letter or email. All bookings are subject to availability and assessment. Due to the exclusive nature of our planned home daycare and boarding service, in terms of the restrictions by breed and number of dogs in our care, we suggest as much advance notice as possible to avoid disappointment.

Arrange a trial visit

The first step to booking your dachshund's care is to arrange a familiarisation visit to explain our set-up, show you around our home and give you and your dachshund the chance to meet Kathryn, Frankie & Benji. Please note that we only accept puppies from the age of six months at this time.

You'll be asked to complete the relevant new customer registration forms: your consent to certain aspects of our service is now a legal requirement. We recommend you take a moment to familiarise yourself with our terms of service and recent government legislation surrounding daycare and home boarding.

Please note that all of your information will be stored securely in our filing system (see our Privacy Policy). Your pet's record will be regularly updated after each visit/activity and following any changes to their routine.

Got a question?

If there is anything else you would like to know before booking, please feel free to contact us with any queries or questions. We aim to respond to all requests within two working days.

What to Bring

For daycare

Please ensure that your dog is wearing a quick release collar or harness. If you don’t have one, in most cases, we’ll have one for your dog to borrow. Bring any medications, vitamins, or supplements, in the original labelled bottle/packaging. We’re able to give oral and topical medications only, provided you have completed our medication form. There is no charge for dispensing medications, but please refer to our Medications Policy.

We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

For home boarding

Requirements as above for daycare. We ask you to bring your dog's own basket/crate, though we do have spare. Please supply your dog's own bedding as long as it’s clean, is machine washable and has your name on it in permanent marker. If your dog has a favourite chew toy, you may bring that as well as long as it’s not a squeaker toy. If possible, we ask you to bring your pet's usual travel restraints. Please do not bring any rawhides or other toys that may be a choking hazard, or food bowls (which we supply). Any questions, just ask!

We are not responsible for lost or damaged items.
